Welcome to the 5
th edition of Connections for Kids, our guidebook of resources for the children of Broward County.
This guidebook is the result of a collaborative effort between the Mental Health Association of Broward County and Broward County’s Human Services Department, Children’s Services Administration Division. The resource is intended to provide information and support for all who seek to improve the lives of our community’s children.
This Summer 2007 Guidebook has been formatted to reflect feedback submitted by users. We hope you will find the format easy to use.
As you know, information changes rapidly in our complex society. Although we have made every effort to make the guidebook timely and accurate, there are always additions and updates.
The Mental Health Association posts the Connections for Kids guide on our website (www.mhabroward.org ) with periodic updates. We rely on the provider community and the families we serve to advise us of additional themes, topics or changes that will make next year’s book even more useful than this newest edition.
